ABOUT THE CAMP

The organizer of the camp is the Women’s Basketball Association Tolmin in cooperation with KK Tolmin and KŠM.

CAMP 2023 WILL TAKE PLACE IN TWO SHIFTS
FIRST SHIFT: 25. 6. - 1. 7. 2023

The first shift is intended for boys and girls born in 2014 and everyone older.

SECOND SHIFT: 2. 7. - 8. 7. 2023

The second shift is just for boys and girls born between 2014 and 2008.

In case of an insufficient amount of applications intended for two shifts, the camp will be held in one shift and we will accept the first 130 applicants.

PRICE
Registration fee is 435 € per person

Included in the price:

For members of ŽKD and KK Tolmin, who will not use any services in the student dormitory, the price is 235 €. For those who would eat all meals in the student dormitory and sleep at home, the price is 350 €.

NOTE: Our wish is for the participants to stay in the CŠOD dormitory, but there is a possibility that the renovation of the building will not be completed on time. In this case, the same as like last year, accommodation will be organized in the premises of the Tolmin School Center. Accordingly, the price will be reduced to 380 €. For local players, 235 € or 320 € with school meals.

The application fee can be paid in three installments

until April 10 – pre-registration 90 €
until May 10 – first installment 160 €
until June 15 – second installment 185 € for accommodation in CŠOD* OR 130 € in case of accommodation in ŠC Tolmin

*in the event that the renovation of the CŠOD is not completed on time, accommodation will be organized in ŠC Tolmin. Accordingly, the price will be lower.

 

In case of cancellation, the organizer reserves the right to charge 5 € organizational costs.

Individual player ratings

Based on the outstanding experience of coach Sagadin and coaches working with camp participants, our team will interview each one individually with valuable insight into their current performance and development plan to improve their individual play when they return to school or club. We strongly believe in a holistic approach, so we will emphasize the importance of school, nutrition, respect, honesty and hard daily work.

Meet the team

Zmago Sagadin
One of the best European coaches (won 25 titles): he has produced and developed 11 NBA players and more than 50 top Euroleague players during the course of his career. His top achievements as a coach are: Eurocup champion, 3rd place in Euroleague, champion of ABA league and several times champion of Slovenian national and cup championship. One of the founders of ABA league which is considered one of the best basketball leagues in the world, alongside NBA.
Primož Brezec
Primož is considered to be one of the best Slovenian players, with a successful career playing in the NBA, in Euroleague and with the Slovenian national team. In 2000 Indiana Pacers drafted him as 27th pick at the NBA draft. He played for 8 years in the NBA league and he made the first point ever in the official game for a then new franchise of Charlotte Bobcats. Currently he is a scout for Cleveland Cavaliers.
Miloš Paravinja
Miloš has played professional basketball from 1998 until 2012. He has played at Euroleague, Eurocup, and ABA league level. From 2012 – 2016 he was the president and General Manager of Basketball Club Slovan Ljubljana.

Our team of coaches includes professionals from Slovenia, USA and Croatia.

Boris Velikonja
Boris is considered to be the heart and soul and soul of our camp. He has extensive experience in managing a club and also as a coach.

Tolmin

The camp is held at the beautiful city of Tolmin, known for river Soča, and a world-wide renowned venue for active vacations, music festivals, etc.

4 inside, 5 outside basketball courts, all positioned next to the student dorm.

Residence: Elementary school Tolmin.
